Join us the second Thursday of each month for our regular meeting. These meetings are open to the public and we'd love to see you and your car. The address for the meetings is posted on our Calendar page.
Drop in at Carl's Junior in Clearlake, 15895 Dam Road at Highway 53 every Friday nite 5:30 pm weather permitting beginning March 15 2013 through the end of daylight savings at the end of October. Come grab a burger or shake and support Carl's Jr. for their open arm welcome for our club and their allowing the Clearlake Car Club to be there….or join our fine organization and join our runs around the county plus more!
The Clearlake Car Club is non profit. Any monies we may raise goes to help local groups. We help the Lower Lake Community Action Committee (LLCAC) which puts on the Memorial Day parade with over 45 cars entered last year. The LLCAC helped us with a car show and in August 2012 which raised over $2500 for the Lower Lake High School scholarship fund for the auto shop at Lower Lake High School.
We help the Lions Club with the Independence Day car show at Austin Park in Clearlake. The Lions help us with our events...we donated $100 to the fireworks fund for 4th of July and paid for the insurance for the Clearlake Christmas parade and were participants in the parade.
We had car runs to many of the small hamburger places and went with ours cars and picked our favorite while the owners of the burger places picked their favorite of the cars attending.
Dues are $25 a year which helps pay our insurance and an annual club pizza run for you and your better half...and gets you on the phone or email list for all our great events. Remember we do a lot of fun stuff and we let you know what we are doing and it's your choice to join in...no pressure...just join in and have fun....many members have no hot rod or classic car any more however join for the good times...so if you have a 32 Ford, a 2010 Corvette, or a 1999 Taurus....if you are a car guy or gal and want to have fun...come join.
