Our second great car show is one you'll want to make reservations for and we've got two great deals on fantastic places to stay.
The annual No Name Car Club and Wooden Glory Boat Show will be held on Saturday, June 2 at Konocti Vista Casino. This is actually the largest wooden boat show on the west coast and we're inviting you to bring your fabulous cars, too.
There's going to be a great DJ who will be playing car songs right from his Corvair van (really!) and lots and lots and lots of great raffle prizes.
Speaking of prizes, we are raffling off a replica of an antique Polly Gas pump. You can go now to Konocti Vista Casino and see the pump, or buy your lucky tickets the day of the event. They're only $1 each or 6 for $5.
The morning will start out with a fantastic pancake breakfast hosted by our local Boy Scouts. A little later, Konocti Vista Casino is going to be grilling up some burgers and dogs which will be available at really fair prices.
While there is no cost to participate in this show, we are happy to accept any donations and those go to benefit the Lake Family Resource Center.
